Happy Birthday! | Duke's Fuqua School of Business

We asked the alumni below celebrating a birthday today, November 21, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said...

Tim Christie MBA ‘03

After 15 years in the world of Corporate Development, I started my own consulting company in 2016 (creatively named "CorpDev Consulting").  We now live in Atlanta where my son Warren is a sophomore in high school.  And attached is a picture of the 25th anniversary trip Gizelle and I had (with Warren) in Italy.

Tara Fagan MMS ’21

I am living in Annapolis, Maryland getting ready to start my final semester of law school. I am also working at a firm in town, and will begin a judicial clerkship after graduation.

Kylie Jordan MMS ’21

I currently live in New York City and work at a women's health biotechnology startup focusing on developing treatments for IVF and menopause. I was on both the varsity swimming ('16-'20) and rowing ('20-'21) teams during my time at Duke, and have enjoyed staying active since graduating. This fall, I ran the New York City marathon for the National Infertility Association. I also love to travel and took a wonderful trip to Italy earlier this year with my boyfriend, Griffin Catlett-- also a Duke undergrad and Fuqua grad!

Chris Lamb WEMBA ’97

After 27 years at IBM, I made the big transition to retirement this year. Swapping conference calls, deadlines and business travel for more bike riding, hiking and backpacking has not been too difficult. :) Still living in Chapel Hill with my wife, Janet, and it's really nice to have our two boys (young men) close by.

Natalya Wallin WEMBA ’22

This October I ran the Moab 240-miler (This is a picture with my support crew at the finish line. Unforgettable experience.). Since Fuqua, I have been running ultramarathons including the Leadville 100-miler in Colorado, hosting an apparel forum in London, and building a new nature-based Fund, Vitality, with a few of my amazing Fuqua teammates (Go, Team Fuqua!). As part of building Vitality, I have been meeting with entrepreneurs, scientists, and partners across the US and UK and will be on the road in 2025, so would love to catch up! The adventure continues.

Currently located in the northern suburb of Chicago, I work in fraud analytics at Discover, making the lives of others harder by asking for a one-time passcode. My wife and I love exploring different state and national parks. Here is a photo of us making my mom hike Mount Cammerer at the Great Smoky Mountains.
