Gretchen Brigden MBA '95
I found what I hope is my forever home when I moved to Vail, CO seven and a half years ago. My favorite activities currently include skiing, hiking, biking, and operating the macroeconomic research business, which I co-founded in 2011. My daughter attends a boarding school in CT, so between that and the board I sit on, I travel east very frequently. I miss old friends, but we get plenty of visitors here, and I have made wonderful new friends and ski about 75 days a season.

After living in Chicago for seven years, I recently moved to Florida, where I spend most of my weekends at the beach with my husband and two daughters. I’m currently working in customer strategy at Best Buy.

Where am I now? I live in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, with my wife, Julie, and my dog, Riley. I spend my free time hiking, doing yoga, and traveling. I just climbed Mt. Marcy, the highest peak in NY State. When I am not doing that, I run a software company called Vivaspot.

Where am I? Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, a few years after graduation, my family and I began moving to different places including Geneve, New York, Montevideo, and, since 2015, sunny Miami! I am happily blowing out 33 candles in the banking industry while my wife, Silvina, is now working as a successful interior designer. My daughter, Lucila, graduated last July, and she is already working at JPMorgan (Oops! another banker). My son, Angus, is in his senior year at FSU and a serious rugby player who already represented the U.S. national team! Plans? Get together with my fellow alumni next year and celebrate 20 years since graduation! Here is a photo of my last birthday by the sea.

October is a special month for my Fuqua friends Cecilia and Kennith, as we all were born in October and celebrate birthdays together every year! Happy birthday
   
 

Kelsey McDonald MSQM '18
I’m currently working in Brooklyn, NY as the director of ticket analytics for the Nets while also supporting other Barclays Center events like New York Liberty games. My team consists of two fellow Fuqua alumni that I recently hired from the 2022 MQM graduating class! Outside of playing ping pong, our team spends most days building Tableau dashboards and predictive models to monitor demand so we can adjust ticket prices accordingly.

 

Joy Simpson MBA '16
I am still working in the food industry for an ingredient manufacturer in the new business development department, and I am on the mergers and acquisitions team. I also just moved to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. I'll still spend significant time in NY, but Colorado will be my residence. I've been spending my free time fly fishing, riding my side-by-side, and snowmobiling.

Hey folks! Paola and I moved back to São Paulo, Brazil, with our dog, Susie. I’m currently working as the Chief of Staff for the CISO of Nubank. Below is a photo of us visiting Chapada dos Veadeiros, Goias, Brazil, doing what we love most, trekking and traveling to remote locations.

Hello, fellow Fuquans! Since graduating in 2001, I have been living in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This past June, I began working as the CFO for Tegra, which is Brookfield's real estate developer in Brazil. Family is doing great! During the pandemic, we built a swimming pool to better enjoy our house, but this year we are going out and traveling a lot.
