We asked the alumni below celebrating a birthday today, October 15, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said...

Luis Aleixandre Riobueno MBA ‘18

I live in Seattle, but I am about to move to New York and am currently working remotely from Miami. I work for Amazon as a Product Manager building and owning global products to keep customers safe. (Feel free to reach out for job opportunities :D).

Larry Bressler MBA’ 99

I moved with my family to Boston in 2016 and am currently the Global Head of Marketing and Market Access for Chiesi Global Rare Diseases. When not working, I enjoy golf and spending time with my wife, Liz, and my two children, Ethan, 16, and Aaron, 11.

Matt Dillon MBA ‘19

My wife and I are currently living in Dallas, TX, where I am a consultant within the Strategy and Transaction practice for EY-Parthenon. We love the city and the large Fuqua community out here. We will be relocating to the burbs in a couple of months as our new dog is tired of apartment living.

Paul Herron MBA ‘76

I'm living a happy retired life in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, with my wife, Laurel. We will be married 50 years next spring. I retired from the biopharmaceutical industry in 2018, where I served in the role of entrepreneur for startup companies seeking to develop new drug compounds. What keeps me busy these days are all these good things: bridge, golf, travel, and grandchildren.

Robert Kay MBA ‘15

I’m living in Denver, CO, and still working for Charles Schwab. I recently took over as Managing Director for our advisor referral program, Schwab Advisor Network, and am working through the TD Ameritrade integration. My wife and I recently added to our family with our second fur baby, Gus, to help ease (or perhaps enhance) the stress of COVID. While our alumni event in San Diego has been canceled for this year, I cannot wait to celebrate with all you again soon, CC 2015!

Michael Kersten MBA ‘88

I am now living with my wife, Karin, in Braunschweig, Germany. After I graduated, I went back to medical school to earn my MD, PhD. Since then, I am working in my pharmacies and medical supply business. I would love to hear from our other classmates. Please email or drop by when visiting Germany after Corona.

Andrew Platt MBA ‘00

After living in London for about three years where I opened an office for my prior firm, I have now been back in Minneapolis for the same amount of time and started a new private equity investment firm called Hunter Street Partners. Outside of work I have been playing bass guitar in a few bands and working on my golf game with my favorite foursome (me, my father, my brother and my son).

Jason Pousley MBA ‘16

My wife and I set down roots in Chicago, buying a house last year and welcoming our first child, Roman Ronald Pousley, into the world this year. I work in brand management at Tyson Foods on the Jimmy Dean brand. Silver lining for my family during this pandemic is the ability to see my son throughout the day between meetings and such while working from home.

Ali Tadlaoui MBA ‘86

These days I’m pouring a lot of energy into my podcast called “Talk to Me About Food,” which draws upon all my years marketing and researching packaged foods. To pay the bills my wife and I run The Thought Bubble, a qualitative research consultancy. We’re based just outside Dallas. Like Durham, this is a place I can run and bike outside all year and swim outdoors through the end of September. I hope my older daughter gets into Duke so I can help install her next fall and soak in what Fuqua has become.

Kim Tremblay MBA ‘85

I am in Cincinnati and have retired from P&G after a 28-year career as a Finance Director. I have one daughter who lives in Toronto. In my retirement I am doing a lot of philanthropic work, mainly with dog rescues.

Azim Uddin MBA ‘13

Currently, I am residing in Central New Jersey in the Princeton area with my wife, Uzma, and three children, daughters Zara (12), Alya (8), and son Ryaan (3). I currently lead the Chief Data Office Strategic Initiative in Capital Markets for Tata Consultancy Services here in the U.S. Normally, I travel quite a bit for work, meeting clients to discuss and consult, but with Covid and its new paradigm of remote working, my work has been all home based and has presented its own set of challenges of shared work spaces, homeschooling, and juggling it all in a sustainable way. I look forward to my next year of life and wish all the best to Team Fuqua October 15 birthday celebrants!

Gan Zhang MQM ‘19

After graduating from Fuqua in 2019, I moved to New York City and started working at Consumer Reports, a media company dedicated to consumer product review and ratings. My team leverages our data and creates data intelligence products to help manufacturers make data-driven and pro-consumer decisions. Outside of work, I have been enjoying the diverse culture, beautiful parks, and friendly neighbors in Upper West Side, Manhattan. My Fuqua experience brings me a great cohort of friends and we are going out of the city to celebrate my birthday this year. I look forward to engaging in this community!

Andrew Zwelling MMS ‘12

As of now, I am living in Jacksonville, FL, working with Amazon and actually transitioning to a new position come November. Currently, I'm the Amazon Web Services Account Manager in SLED (State Local Government and Education). In November, I will be transitioning to be an ISV SLED account manager working with Amazon's technology partners helping them build GTM strategies between the two firms.
