We asked the alumni below, celebrating a birthday today, September 15, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said...

Christine Greenleaf MBA '19
Hi Team Fuqua! Hope everyone's doing well. My family and I (pictured here minus cat Buster, who said no thank you to posing) are still happily in Charlotte, North Carolina. We're looking forward to fall trips to see family this year.

Hi, fellow Fuquans! I now live in Houston with my husband, my 4-year-old daughter, and my 9-month-old daughter. Life got pretty crazy during the pandemic with the loss of my father to cancer and taking time off from my career to raise kiddos. I have to thank so many Fuquans who’ve continuously supported me since my dad got sick during my first year at Fuqua. Things have calmed down now, and I’m excited to say that I’m following a passion of mine and starting my own floral design and delivery business, Blooming Garden Flowers (@thatbloominggarden on Instagram), here in Houston. Wish me luck!

Michelle Eden Jabbari MBA '14
Hello Fuqua! Since graduation, I took the leap and left my company of fifteen years to join a top consulting firm, where we are building software to enable government social safety net programs. I’ve had many life changes too. I recently moved to a new house in a new city (still in Virginia though!), and I am now married. Here’s a photo from Lake Dukan on my trip to Kurdistan to meet my husband’s family. We had an amazing adventure traveling all over Kurdistan and honeymooning in Istanbul and Venice. I can’t wait for my next adventure!

It's my fifteenth year in the Bay Area, and I am currently working at Wing, the drone-delivery division of Google. Shout out to my 24-team DNFL (Duke Networking Fantasy Football League) classmates, as we just held our annual draft last week; it has been our way of keeping in touch since our 2007 graduation. Here is a photo of me running into Adam Silver '84 at the NBA All-Star Game; his brother, Owen, is a Fuqua alum!

Pam Kurtzman MBA '94
Hello from Dallas! We have been in Dallas since 1996 and just became empty-nesters with our two girls moving to opposite coasts. We are stepping up our travel schedule by vacationing in Mexico and visiting friends. Last week, we spent time in the mountains with Felicity (MBA ‘94) and Clark Brace. Since 2008, I have been working for Jewish Federations of North America as a municipal financial advisor helping Jewish organizations finance their capital projects. I am looking forward to basketball watching events with other Duke fans.

Hello Fuquans! Since graduating in 2010, I’ve been working in corporate sustainability - first at Disney and REI, and for the past seven years at Amazon, where I’m currently developing supply chain climate tech solutions. I’ve really enjoyed coming back to campus to connect with MEM/MBAs on several occasions, and I’ve been lucky enough to get to work with Rana Marks MBA '19 on the sustainability team at Amazon. Outside of work, Dave Lang MBA '10 and I love going on adventures in Seattle with our pup, Jasper, whom we adopted from the shelter in Durham.

Nicole Page '12, MBA '17
After living nearly five years in Los Angeles post-Fuqua, I made the decision to move back to Durham at the beginning of 2022! It's been a fun year so far, between reconnecting with classmates in town (and persuading others to come back soon!) and beginning to travel again (pictured here in Porto). At the same time as the move, I launched my own data and strategy consulting business focused in the education space, and I am enjoying the broader impact of being able to work with schools and nonprofits all around the country. Hoping to see many of you around town and campus soon!

Eduardo Rebolledo MBA '17
Hello Fuqua fam! Since graduation, I've stayed in the warm city of Chicago; some of the winters have been tough, but overall this city has grown on me, and I am happy to call it home. Less than a month ago, I transitioned from consulting to an EdTech company, which I am very excited about; more news to come on that soon. I am still looking to explore new places, my girlfriend and I just came back from the Amalfi Coast; we really enjoyed it. In summary, life has been good, with its ups and downs, but we are still here! Oh, I forgot to mention that we just got a puppy, so very excited about that too!

Gerald Richardson MBA '08
Since graduating from Fuqua in 2008, I transitioned from being a portfolio manager of a power company to a full-time real estate professional and investor. Here is a picture of my wife, Melanie, and I at Cameron Indoor Stadium. My wife also graduated from Fuqua (MBA '08), but she will not admit it publicly since she is also a UNC graduate (undergrad and medical school). We're about to celebrate our two-year anniversary.

After moving here in 2012, we still live in beautiful New Jersey. We just came back from our summer vacation in Europe, which turned out to be quite different than planned—three of us tested COVID positive. Luckily, we had no or very minor symptoms. We made the best of it, though, and after recovering, we had a great time visiting Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Amsterdam, and the Documenta (a massive and very controversial art exhibit) in Kassel/Germany. Now, we’re back home and looking forward to a beautiful late summer with lots of golf and soccer. All the best to the Fuqua CCMBA Class of 2004!
