We asked the alumni below celebrating a birthday today, April 18, "Where are you now?"

Rebecca Anderson MBA ‘07

I moved back to North Carolina 5 years ago and love living here with my husband Nate and kids Eli (7) and Izzy (2). We are raising them to be big Duke fans and have made it to a few Duke lacrosse games already this season. I’ve worked at Fidelity Charitable for almost 10 years and have enjoyed the ride as it has grown into one of the largest grant makers in the U.S. because of our generous donors!

Scott Carson MBA ‘17

I live in Bossier City, LA. I’m currently a Lt. Col in the USAF Air National Guard working at the 608th AOC Combat Operations Division at Barksdale AFB, LA. I also own Nightingale Hospice and I’m on military leave from my real job where I’m a First Officer at JetBlue Airways. I will also acquire my first multi-family property after I return from a deployment to Qatar early next year.

Keith Ellison MBA ‘14

I'm living and working in Manhattan Beach, California investing in high yield and opportunistic credit. More importantly, you'll find me at the beach surfing, exploring the wilderness or traveling - just got back from New Zealand (highly recommend). It's always great when I get to hang with my Fuqua friends.

Jeff MacMillan MBA ‘07

I live in San Francisco, California with my wife Nisha and kids Sana (6) and Arin (4). Professionally, I am Senior Director of Business Model Strategy at Autodesk. I joined Autodesk in 2011.

Luiz Marques MBA ‘03

I am in Sao Paulo, Brazil. I've been working as a professor and consultant in operations management since my graduation in the Daytime MBA Class of 2003.

Santiago Montes MBA ‘16

After finishing Roche's business perspectives development program and having the incredible fortune of living in California, Italy, Switzerland, and the Netherlands I have landed a full time role as a Strategic Partnership manager for Roche Diagnostics in the Netherlands. After all the travel it feels good to settle down in the fantastic city of Amsterdam.

Beryl A. Ojwang MBA ’14, MD ‘14

I graduated from Duke with a Dual Degree MD/MBA. This unique intersection between business and medicine allowed me to land my currently role as a Medical Science Liaison for Teva Pharmaceuticals.

Charles Rierson ’91, MBA ‘98

I live in Atlanta with my wife, Victoria, and our two teenage children. I am Managing Principal of Abelian Partners, a management consulting firm focused on practitioner consulting solutions for financial institutions.

Craig Smith MBA ‘05

I’m still living in Lima, Peru, with 3 children, the eldest having graduated college in the US and is currently working in Florida—hopefully a future Fuquan! The middle child is graduating from college next month, and next up is my 14 year old, who was born while I was at Fuqua and seems to have Duke blue in her veins! I’m still running the alternative asset management firm I founded in Lima in 2005 during my final year at Duke, and we’ve now successfully invested more than $1.2 billion of US and Peru institutional money in our asset-backed private debt funds as well as our infrastructure private equity business. We hope to start out in Colombia soon and aim to get into real estate during 2019 as well.  Thanks eternally to Fuqua and my brilliant accounting professor without whom Sigma would not have been possible!

David Stainback MBA ‘07

I am currently a partner in PwC's Forensics practice leading our U.S. Crisis Management practice within PwC's Global Crisis Center. I am also PwC's lead recruiting partner for Fuqua, so I am able to come back to campus and bring great Fuqua students to PwC. I am excited that PwC's U.S. Chairman, Tim Ryan, is the commencement speaker for Fuqua's graduation this spring. I live in Atlanta with my wife Jamie, our three boys (9, 7, and 3), and we are expecting a baby girl in August.
