We asked the alumni below celebrating a birthday today, March 21, "Where are you now?"

Jay Bavishi MBA ‘16
I'm back in Durham and working remotely for Twitter to drive revenue during global sporting events. I'm getting married in May to Amanda Grittner, a PhD student in economics at the Graduate School.

Ignacio de la Portilla MBA ‘17
I'm a Senior Associate transitioning to Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, in the Mexico City office. In my personal life, I'm dating my Fuqua sweetheart; we've been doing distance since graduation, but we look forward to relocating together by next summer.

Tom Hartley ’81, MBA ‘83
I graduated from Fuqua in 1983 and enjoyed our last year in the brand new building! (And I understand there are many more now...). As to where I am now, we live outside St. Louis, Missouri, and I am enjoying my 4th year of retirement.

Megan Jayaraj MBA ‘16
Upon graduation from Fuqua, I joined Amgen’s Finance and Strategy Leadership Development Program. Along with completing rotations in Revenue Forecasting, Corporate Strategy, and R&D Finance, I have served as Amgen’s recruiting lead at Duke. As a Blue Devil at heart, I like to spend my free time watching Duke basketball with my husband, Nate, from our home in Santa Monica, CA. Go Blue Devils!

Thomas Kish MBA ‘97
In December, I returned to my high school alma mater, Georgetown Prep, as Director of Alumni Relations. My sons will be a freshman and a junior here next year. Colleen and I love the travel escapades driven by our boys’ choir and athletic pursuits.

Michael Locascio MBA ‘97
I am the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Growth Officer of Reinhart Foodservice. I live in Chicago with my wife and four boys. I recently attended the Duke v. St. John's game with my son on campus at Cameron.  Let's go Duke!

Matt Robertson MBA ‘03
I am enjoying my time as Chief Commercial Officer of Synagro, a small, private equity-owned environmental services firm in Baltimore. It's a turnaround situation, so every day yields a new problem to solve. But I love the people, the company's mission, and the challenge of fixing companies and taking them to exit.

Christopher Whitfield MBA ‘00
I am currently living in Johannesburg, South Africa, running my healthcare company Batswadi Group. I also just completed the purchase of the oldest and 3rd largest laboratory supply company in Southern Africa – www.labotec.co.za.

Dana Vielmetti MBA ‘17
I work in marketing in Chicago and will marry my CLEAD-mate (Brian Rowe MBA '17) in September!
