Bio

Ben is a dual degree student between Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and the Sanford School of Public Policy. Before Fuqua, he worked with the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality as an engineering project manager and managed environmental remediation and sustainability initiatives. With his dual degree, Ben strives to balance the private sector’s speed and innovation and the public sector’s policy and regulation. He ultimately plans to pursue a career in renewable energy. Ben is also a North Carolina native and a graduate of North Carolina State University, where he majored in environmental engineering and minored in environmental science. Outside his career aspirations and education, Ben’s hobbies include weightlifting, running, gardening, cooking, and baking.
