Why I Chose Fuqua
I chose to attend Fuqua because of its strong global approach and emphasis on teamwork. In my current role at a multinational financial holding company, I work with people from diverse cultures and perspectives. Fuqua’s global residencies and experiential learning opportunities offer the perfect platform to further develop my ability to navigate different working styles and broaden my perspective. The chance to engage with classmates from around the world added significant value to my learning and aligned with my career goals.
Equally important is Fuqua’s renowned Team Fuqua culture. I believe that real teamwork is essential for success in any global context. The values of collaboration, mutual respect, and diverse contributions resonate deeply with me, as they align with my corporate culture’s focus on fostering individual competencies to achieve collective goals. I was eager to be part of a community that thrives on these principles and offers the opportunity for growth in leadership and teamwork.
In summary, Fuqua offers the global, team-oriented environment I seek to excel in today’s interconnected world, making it the ideal fit for my personal and professional aspirations.
Before Fuqua
I worked as VP of Credit Risk for Credicorp Capital leading a regional team of fifteen associates and analysts in identifying, evaluating, and monitoring credit risk for the company’s businesses in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Panama.
After Fuqua
After graduation, I plan to continue growing within the Credicorp group. The Executive MBA enhanced my skills to effectively manage teams and drive strategic initiatives within the organization.

Maximizing Your Global Executive MBA Experience
Organization is key to maximizing your experience in the program. Create a detailed plan to balance school, work, and personal life. Organize your team at work in advance, ensuring they can manage tasks while you're away during residency. Prioritize reading before residency to free up time for networking and exploring. Make the most of networking opportunities to build relationships with classmates. Participate in optional activities that interest you to strengthen bonds with peers. Take the time to get to know your classmates, as these relationships can become lifelong friendships. Lastly, explore the cities you visit—embrace the local culture, food, and experiences, as they will enrich your journey academically and personally.
