"Fuqua constantly reminds me of the importance of asking questions. Coming to business school, I expected to find a set of concrete answers for any professional challenge but quickly realized there is never a one-size-fits-all formula. Instead, classes here encourage my peers and I to explore what essential questions to consider, and how voicing them among others sparks insights that could potentially guide a business or even an entire industry."

Why I Chose Fuqua
I could give a long list of logical reasons why Fuqua is a prestigious business school quoting past employment reports, faculty members’ profiles, school resources, etc., but personally, that was not what was nearest to my heart as I prepared my application to come to Fuqua.
Reading student blogs, and listening to class speakers from MQM graduation videos, I could feel their enthusiasm and drive to grow. The image of being among such people in a classroom, listening and nodding to their opinions, is what drove me to apply. The people of Fuqua are the brand, and I am very happy to be able to be part of that.
Before Fuqua
As an underwriter, I had experience evaluating financial data to make decisions on mortgage loans and support the settlement of insurance policies. This led me to understand that data contains all the narratives and footprints of today’s society, and I felt the need to learn more about how to effectively utilize it.
After Fuqua
The MQM program allowed me to discover a passion for understanding organizational problems and providing data-driven solutions for actual people. My primary goal is to pursue a role as a project manager within the software solutions industry or as a business analyst in consulting. With newly acquired skills in data analysis, project management, and strategic planning, I am excited to be part of projects that enhance efficiency and deliver practical value to users and stakeholders. On top of that, I aim to join a working environment that welcomes diverse perspectives and has frequent opportunities for collaboration to continue the way I learn and grow here at Fuqua.

Team Fuqua in Action
On the first day of Business, Culture, and Communication, I was amazed. Everyone was so friendly and open. The smiles, the excited greetings, and the curiosity about one another all showed me that this was what they meant by Team Fuqua. It wasn’t even that everyone was extremely extroverted. It was more that everyone seemed to have such well-rounded personalities, interacting in an energetic harmony.
