Walmart CEO Discusses Leadership and Culture

Doug McMillon believes in starting a career with the end in mind.

"Life is short, and you've got to be where you feel like you should be," the Walmart CEO and president told students during a conversation with Dean Bill Boulding. "Every day when you go to work, if you don't see yourself on that track and if you have too many days when you feel that way, you probably need to do something different. But if, on the other hand, you feel like you've found the right spot, there is nothing wrong with staying and just building something."
