We asked the alumni below celebrating a birthday today, November 15, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:

Rob Bartlett MBA ‘90

I am living in Cincinnati, OH. I retired from Procter & Gamble in 2014, after working there for 27 years in total. I am now a Certified Financial Planner® working for Clear Perspectives Financial Planning. My three kids are all graduated from college and off the payroll, and my wife and I are enjoying traveling (next trip is in January to Istanbul, Israel and Jordan).

Kristy (Harris) Bias MBA ‘03

I live in Austin and I am the Finance Director at Dell. My hobbies include traveling, hanging out with family and friends. Currently, my 6 year and 1 year old daughters keep me very busy in my spare time, and enjoying every minute with them!

Andrew Brock MBA ‘13

I currently live in Atlanta, GA and am VP of Strategy and Development for CRH’s Americas Materials group, previously known as Oldcastle. Since graduation, I have focused my professional time and energy on strategy and M&A for manufacturing companies. I first started out at JM Huber, a medium sized chemical company, before moving to Monitor Deloitte. I joined CRH just over six months ago. On a personal note, my wife, Kelly, and I have welcomed two more children since graduation, and we now have two girls and a boy aged 8, 4 and 2.

Kyoichi Kris Fukuda MBA '77 (formerly Koichi Aoyama)

Soon after my graduation, under the name of Kyoichi Aoyama, I managed the first Asian subsidiary of Boston Scientific (“BSC") as its very first president out of Tokyo from late 1980s to early 1990s for over 5 years. Under my presidency at Boston Scientific-Japan, Boston Scientific (“BSC") in Massachusetts introduced commercially available Heart Stent from Japan to the world and then went for IPO in 1992 at NYSE. Then I left BSC to become a headhunter with Heidrick & Struggles ("H&S") as its Managing Partner and also as the very first Asian board member at its HQ for 10 years.

After the 9/11, I left New York and H&S. Since then I have been working and living in 2 countries of Singapore & Japan. In the past 10 years or so, I have been focusing on clean energy such as solar, wind; and in particular L.E.N.R., commonly known as Cold Fusion. But, I am now shifting my business from clean energy to clean agricultural products and healthy food production by “Somatid*”, once again from the countries of Singapore & Japan.

(*Somatid = ultramicroscopic, sub-cellular, living reproducing entities)

John Mack MBA ‘00

My career journey after Fuqua (Daytime program, Class of 2000) has taken me on a path into the world of enterprise technology, initially through the lens of a management consultant, then from the vantage point of a Chief Marketing Officer for startup and growth-stage software companies. This summer, the journey led to a new role at Amazon Web Services, where I now lead the company’s business development activities for the Western United States. It is a fascinating place to work, and I feel privileged to be helping innovative companies reimagine their businesses through cloud-enabled technologies.

Chris McCurry MBA ‘08

Since graduating, my family and I have had the opportunity to fill many different roles in the US Navy and have lived all across the US and in Singapore. Most recently, I was selected to be the Executive Officer of the USS ANCHORAGE (LPD 23) home-ported in San Diego, CA.

Dan Newell MBA ‘17

I'm still on active duty as an Army officer, working in New York as an Instructor at the United States Military Academy in the Department of Systems Engineering. It's been an awesome experience teaching and mentoring the future leaders of our Army. My wife Virginia is pregnant with our 3rd boy due at the end of December.

Frank Oppong MBA ‘15

Hey Fuqua family - I live in San Francisco with my amazing wife, Desirae, and full of energy 8-month old daughter, Rylen. Post Fuqua, I went into consulting and then moved in to product management. I look forward to cheering on the Blue Devils basketball team with this year’s freshman class. A few classmates and I road-tripped to the championship game in 2015, and wouldn’t mind doing it again.

Dear Fuqua community! As the Chairman & CEO of an Educational Foundation with almost 90 years history and also as the Principal of its High School, I have been fully engaged in the center front of the Japanese educational sector for the last 6 years. My mission is to revitalize the School and to let our students (60% are Japanese and 40% are Chinese!) be ready for the future with a lot of unforeseenable distruptive changes. I thank Fuqua so much for having me ready to be the top exectuive of this private school and foundation. My school is called "Bunri Kaisei High School", located in Kamogawa-city, Chiba Prefecture, about 60 minutes drive from Tokyo Haneda International Airport. Let me remind you that Fuqua friends are always welcome! I always wish you all the best! https://www.bunri-kaisei.ed.jp/
