What made you want to become the Fuqua Around the World host for Long Island?

I decided to help bring Fuqua Around the World to Long Island as I felt there is a strong alumni network here that can sometime get lost in the broader Duke alumni community in New York City.

What about the day are you most looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to putting our region on the map in this exciting once a year celebration that is happing simultaneously in dozens of regions across the globe!

Why do you think people should participate in Fuqua Around the World?

We are all so busy with our personal and professional lives, but this one event gives us the opportunity to reflect on our time at Fuqua simultaneously with our classmates around the world.  I’m looking forward to seeing pictures across globe and hope to recognize a few faces.

Have you attended an event before? How was it? 

As a working parent, I never got the chance to participate in the prior year events due to the distance, but hopefully having one on Long Island will bring out those on their way home during the evening commute. 

Lastly, what does Team Fuqua mean to you?

Team Fuqua represents a group of friends that spans the globe.  I always enjoy connecting with classmates when I’m in different city.
